Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach - Becker College

Becker College with campuses in Worcester and Leicester, MA is seeking applicants for a full-time, 10 month opportunity coaching college men's ice hockey.

Responsibilities include providing leadership and supervision in all aspects of the men's ice hockey program - including, recruitment, retention, academic support, practice preparation, game strategy, alumnae development, fundraising, and community. Supervising and training the assistant men's ice hockey coaches, recruiting student athletes, who meet the college's admission requirements, and meet annual recruitment goals as developed by the Department of Athletics. Ensuring compliance with all college, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and NCAA rules and regulations related to recruiting and academic monitoring of student-athletes, ensuring department and college regulations are understood by and complied with by student athletes and coaching staff. Mass NA3HL Program Seeks New Head Coach

NA3HL Hockey Team in eastern Massachusetts is seeking a qualified candidates for head coaching position for the 2018-19 season. The team practices three to four times a week for at least 4 hours on-ice, 3 hours per week of off-ice training and participate in approximately 46 games. The head coach will be responsible for supervising assistant coaches and is also expected to establish and maintain a positive culture that values and prioritizes accountability and athlete well-being. The head coach is expected to be able to coordinate and communicate with staff for effective risk management and safety for the benefit of the hockey programs. The season runs from August through March, but duties will extend year-‐round with recruiting and planning, sponsor interaction, as well as other actions.

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and practice good values to lead and manage young players

Head Women’s Ice Hockey Coach - Western New England University

Western New England University invites applications for a Head Coach to be hired for the 2019-2020 academic year with the major responsibility initially to recruit a complete roster for the inaugural Women’s Ice Hockey team that will begin competition at the NCAA level in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2018-19 season.

Ohio University - Hockey Coach

The Ice Hockey Coach is a year round, full time position that is responsible for all organizational, administrative and coaching duties of the ACHA Division I Hockey program, including practice and skill session planning, organization, game scheduling, video coordination, game management, recruiting coordination, budgeting, and compliance with all OHIO University and ACHA regulations. The Ice Hockey Coach also provides oversight of the Bird Arena Adult Hockey League (BAHL) and the Learn to Play Hockey programs. Coordinate team transportation, meals, lodging, etc. Generate revenue through ticket sales and donations. Provide excellent stewardship for the Ice Hockey foundation accounts. Maintain positive relationships with OHIO Hockey stakeholders.

Oversee the Bird Arena Adult Hockey League and the Learn to Play Hockey programs. Schedule officials, instructors, and provide on-ice instruction. Maintain the budget and supplies for both programs.

Actively contribute as a staff member of the Department of Campus Recreation and Division of Student Affairs to uphold the framework of equity and social justice and the personal well-being of the university community. The Depaul Blue Demons are associated with the ACHA at the Division II level. Our organization plays in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League (NCHL) which involves travel throughout the midwest. DePaul plays out of Johnnys Ice House West in Chicago, IL and has enjoyed great success on the ice since the early 1990's when the program was formed. Job Description:

The position will perform all duties normally associated with the job of an Assistant Coach of a junior hockey team including, but not limited to, working with the Head Coach to initiate and prepare a season plan, scheduling and conducting tryouts, practices, meetings and other training, maintaining team and individual discipline, recruiting players and promoting the team in the community. Hockey Instructor – Camp Chipinaw & Silver Lake

Chipinaw and Silver Lake are traditional co-ed children's summer camps in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Our kids range from age 7-16.

We are looking for two roller/floor hockey instructors for the 2019 summer. University of Maryland, Baltimore County Club Hockey - Head Coach

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Club Hockey program (located in Catonsville,MD) is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Head Coaching position at the ACHA Division 3 level, to start the 2019-2020 season.

The Head Coach is responsible for the on-ice training of our student athletes, working closely with assistant coaches to properly prepare for practices and games, and mentoring our student athletes. We need someone who will focus the majority of their time recruiting. The team generally practices Tuesday nights, and plays all home games at either The Gardens Ice House or Mount Pleasant Ice Arena. All coaches will be working closely with our board members. (Club President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, and Club Director) Duties for the position occur throughout the season, including, but not limited to, recruiting, ACHA related business, and communicating with our board members about scheduling and planning. Our season currently runs from the end of August to the beginning of March. A successful applicant must be able to build and maintain a competitive program while simultaneously developing character and skill among the players. The coach will be able to recruit his own assistant coach(es). Stipend provided.

Summer Roller Hockey Coach - Great Leadership Experience - Camp Towanda

We are looking to hire a Hockey Coach for Camp Towanda, a children's summer camp in Honesdale, PA.

Hockey specialists at Camp Towanda have the opportunity to teach daily roller and floor hockey instruction to our campers; boys and girls, ages 7-17. Additionally, they are responsible for coaching our hockey intracamp and intercamp leagues and tournaments. This is a great opportunity for for both developing professionals to get coaching experience with a wide variety of ages and abilities and for seasoned coaches looking for a fun and engaging way to spend your summer!

Responsibilities include coaching, refereeing, executing lesson plans and coordinating with our Program and Athletic Director.

Specialists help teach groups of 20-40 campers at a time (boys and girls, ages 7-17). When you are not instructing, you will be with your assigned cabin, as a General Counselor. A cabin typically consists of 8-16 campers, 2-3 General Counselors and 2-3 Activity Specialists and a Junior Counselor. Each age group has generally 2-3 bunks lead by a Group Leader. Our entire camp eats three meals together in a dining hall where the oldest campers serve the meals. We have weekly BBQs and enjoy creative evening activities as a camp family (game shows, campfires, plays, sports leagues, scavenger hunts and more!).

A typical day starts at 7:15am and campers go to bed between 9-10pm. Counselors have a rotating schedule for time off and a day off. When you are in the cabin, you are on-duty and prepared to work!

We have great staff support and training to help you be a successful Activity Specialist. You will need to be at camp prior to the camper's arrival for your Department-Specific orientation as well as a general orientation led by child development experts and our senior staff.

We also have internship opportunities available in addition to being a hockey coach. This is a great way to add to your resume in two ways!

Coach: Areas of responsibility is coaching and recruiting student athletes. Assist all aspects of the hockey team including organize and administer practice, game strategies, manage schedule, manage budget, injury reports, travel arrangements and weekly meeting with the Director of Hockey. Actively recruit qualified student-athletes. Attend contests; meet with perspective student athletes on campus; telephone contacts; communication with players, coaches and scouts.

Teacher: Plan, prepare and deliver the lesson plans and assessments of Ontario Secondary School (OSSD) Curriculum for 2-3 courses (Fall semester) and 2-3 courses (Spring semester). A minimum of 110 hours of scheduled class time in addition to preparation time is required per class.

University of Alabama, ACHA D3 Head Coach

Team will begin play in 2019-2020 season. Person hired will also be an Assistant Coach on the ACHA D1 Team. As well as being able to coach in Pelham Hockey Development Academy (youth clinics, house league, learn to skate) and perform individual lessons.

D3 team will practice once a week and play 20+ games with minimal travel.
