Danbury Titans Professional Hockey Team - Assistant Coach

The Danbury Titans of the Federal Hockey League are looking for an assistant coach. The position will report to the Head Coach and will assist in the running of practices as well as administrative duties. Other duties may be assigned by the head coach. This is an opportunity for someone looking to get experience in the world of professional hockey and in coaching. The assistant coach will be required to attend all home games and as many road games as possible.

Experience: Experience playing and/or coaching organized hockey at a high level (high school, juniors, college, or professional) and has been involved with the game of hockey for a period of time. College and/or professional hockey experience desired but not required. Salary is negotiable.

The New England Future Stars, a spring/summer youth hockey league based in Massachusetts, is looking for experienced coaches to fill out the remaining coaching vacancies for the 2017 season.

Entering its 10th year, the Future Stars is made up of 12 organizations playing at six different age divisions. All head coaches will be paid for the season and responsible for recruiting players for team's open tryout, leading weekly skills sessions in-season and attending all regular season and playoff games. Position Overview:

LEGACY Global Sports is an international sports management company which is involved in the development and growth of sports currently including ice hockey, football, lacrosse and soccer. LEGACY is world renowned for international sports tours and event management in North America and across Europe, as well as athlete representation. The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, located in the upper Midwest, supporting 12 men's and 10 women's teams, is inviting applications for the position of Commissioner. Responsibilities: The Commissioner will serve as the chief administrative officer for the association, employing a staff that would oversee the following areas: Director of Officials, Director of Sports Information and/or Publicity, and Administrative Assistant. The office location would be such that the Commissioner would be able to effectively carry out the duties of the office without creating undo air travel. Meeting requirements include two in-person league meetings annually with the Association's Directors of Athletics, and attendance at other hockey league and/or NCAA-related meetings.

The Commissioner serves at the direction of the Athletic Directors within the Association and is overseen by the President's Council.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and previous collegiate and/or hockey administrative experience preferred. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles that guide Division III athletics and have demonstrated the potential for collaborative leadership, a high degree of personal initiative, and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusiveness. Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal skills as well as knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

SUNY Cortland Women's Ice Hockey Part Time Assistant

SUNY Cortland Department of Athletics seeks qualified candidates for the part-time position of assistant women's ice hockey coach. The part-time assistant coach will be responsible for participating in the supervision and direction of all aspects of the women's ice hockey team. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration of large sports leagues or similar programs required. 5 years preferred.

4. USA Hockey CEP Level 3 required. Level 4 or 5 preferred.
5. Minimum of 5 years of playing experience required. College or Junior playing experience preferred.
6. Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience required. High School or higher coaching level experience preferred.

UNIVERSITY OF IOWA LADY ICE HAWKS - Women's Club Hockey Head Coach (Part-Time)

The Lady Ice Hawks are seeking a Head Coach for the 2016-2017 season. We are entering our 4th season as a team and will be joining the Women's Central Hockey League (WCHL). We hope to join the ACHA in the next couple of years.

The team usually has a very light season. We start in late September and end in early March, playing approximately 10-14 games (2 games a weekend), with 1 on-ice practice a week, 1 dry-land practice a week (which coaches are not required to attend), and a possible tournament at the end of the season. In the past, we have played other university and club teams, such as the UW-Madison, University of MN, Robert Morris, University of IL, La Crosse, Midland, Nebraska, and Iowa State.

The range of skaters on our team is anywhere from beginning, to high school and AAA players. Given this wide range of player experience, we are looking for someone who is committed to developing every player and is available for most practices and games.

This would especially be a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in starting a coaching career. Our team is still very much in its infancy stages, which means there is lots of room for growth and new ideas.

CT Oilers Internship Program

Internship Program

As a part of the Connecticut Oilers organization, interns will be exposed to the inner workings of a professionally run hockey team. Specifically, interns will receive the opportunity to become involved with game night operations, marketing research and special projects. All interns will be required to handle computer applications with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.). In addition to working games, the intern will have the opportunity to work in the office environment during the season. The semester will offer a chance to learn the daily regimen of a sports franchise, meet important contacts, and the chance to be involved in many aspects of the operation.

- Performing other duties as assigned by full-time staff

Recruiter/Coach: Areas of responsibility is coaching and recruiting student athletes.
