Twin City Steel - Head Coach

The Twin City Steel of the NA3HL is looking for a Head Coach for the 2015-2016 hockey season. This is a seasonal position and the chosen candidate will be compensated according to experience. The Wings are looking for a qualified, motivated and organized individuals to coach full season teams for 2015-16. Teams will play and practice out Essex and Middlesex Counties in Massachusetts. Ideal for recent graduates looking for part time job or parent coaches.

Responsibilities: Full Season (Labor Day to March) consisting of 1-2 practices per week, roughly 30 league games plus two tournaments. Coaches will be responsible for player recruitment, bench management and player/parent communication.

Requirements: Experience coaching at the AAA level, college hockey playing experience and the ability to recruit players in the New England area is required. Must also be patched at the appropriate USA Hockey level. Most of our players come from the Northeastern MA/Southern NH.

EKU Colonels Men's Ice Hockey - Volunteer Assistant Coach

The EKU Colonels Hockey Club is seeking a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming 2015-16 season. The Colonels play a 26-game schedule in the ACHA with two practices per week and two off-ice sessions per week on campus.

IGT-Intensity Goaltender Training - Interns

IGT-Intensity Goaltender Training is looking for interns to assist us with new markets. As an intern, you will work with our coaches in training and advising goalies in your area, and will receive all of our assistance with your career.

We follow all NCAA rules and regulations, with the goal of assisting you in attending the college or university of your choice, playing at the highest level possible!

We prefer goalies currently playing Midget, High School, Junior or College hockey, however will consider any serious, qualified goalie, of good moral character, playing at the bantam level or above. All goalies must be mature and disciplined to train on their own, under our direction.

To be considered, you will need send some recent game video, which we will review and plan training for you. We will then schedule a visit to see you play in person, and interview for a position.

Job Description

Inside Edge Fitness, doing business at the Ashburn Ice House in Ashburn, VA, is seeking an individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about sports performance, exercise and physical wellness. Specializing in the training of hockey players and figure skaters it is important that this individual be familiar with these sports. This individual will be responsible for providing personalized attention and professional instruction to clients. He or she will help clients maximize his/her performance in sport, his/her workout efficiency, and improve his/her fitness. Position is part-time with a full-time position available for the right candidate. Compensation is dependent on experience. Initially, hours will vary so individual must be flexible and adaptable to various days and hours. Nights and some weekends are required.

Responsibilities

To include but are not limited to:

- Working one-on-one, with small groups, and with teams to execute exercise programs
- Teaching clients through instruction and demonstrations utilizing your fitness knowledge, sport specific techniques, and the individual client's physical capabilities
- Enforcing facility policies, and helping maintain a clean training center and equipment
- Conduct facility and equipment orientations
- Perform fitness assessments for both sport specific and general fitness training
- Promote and sell Inside Edge Fitness training programs
- Monitor participant's progress and work with Director to adapt program as needed
- Coach and motivate individuals to work toward his/her goals every day and every workout
- Ensure, to the best of your ability, clients leave feeling satisfied with her/her workout program and remain motivated to attain his/her goals

Prerequisites

- 18 years old +
- Current CPR and AED Certifications
- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
- CSCS or CPT from an NCCA accredited institution, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ACSM
- NCAA division one , two, or three sport participation preferred
- Demonstrated hockey or skating experience
- 2+ Years of coaching experience

Required Skills

- Experience and demonstrated knowledge in weight lifting and fitness instruction
- Personable, outgoing and motivating personality
- Ability to work well with kids and adults
- Ability to communicate effectively and have a desire to teach
- Ability to remain flexible to adapt to a changing work schedule and environment
- Exhibit a professional and polite appearance and demeanor
