Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach - SUNY Canton

SUNY Canton invites applications for a full time position as Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects of a successful collegiate women's ice hockey program. Duties include but are not limited to: recruitment of highly skilled and academically qualified student-athletes, monitor academic progress and eligibility, effectively analyze and teach the skills and strategies of the sport. This position is also responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating practice sessions along with developing, implementing, and evaluating game plans and strategies. The Head Coach will serve as leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program and prepare a competitive schedule, participate in community and department activities, and fundraising initiatives. They will oversee the team's travel coordination and other administrative processes and procedures. The Head Coach will also ensure compliance with all department, university and NCAA policies, procedures, and regulations. Ten month obligation. Starting salary - $36,800.

Bachelor's degree with experience in coaching, instructing or training in ice hockey is required. Master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills and possess proven recruitment experience.

Iowa State University Men's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach

Iowa State University, an ACHA Division I program and a member of the Central States Collegiate Hockey League is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Coach for the Men's Ice Hockey program.

Western New England University is seeking an Assistant Coach for its Men's Ice Hockey program.

Catholic University Men's Hockey Team - Assistant Coach

The Catholic University of America (CUA) Men's Hockey Team is looking for a committed Assistant Coach for the 2014-2015 season. CUA is located in Washington, DC and all practices and home games are held at Fort Dupont Ice Arena, also located in Washington, DC.

CUA hockey competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division III, and is a member of the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference (BRHC). CUA's season begins in early September and runs through late February. CUA practices two nights per week, and plays approximately 25 games per season.

The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing and administrating all aspects of the hockey program: including but not limited to, practice planning, game preparation, travel, video analysis, and recruiting. Must be able to attend all team games, practices and assist wherever needed.

Qualifications:

-USA Hockey Level 3 or above certified coach
-Prior coaching experience at the ACHA, Junior, High School or Midget level preferred
-CPR/First Aid/AED Certified or ability to obtain certification upon hire
-Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.

Programming:

- Responsible for coordinating and booking adult leagues/camps, children's camps and other programs the rink offers. (Programming includes both ice and dry floor programs)
- Initiate, develop, support and monitor facility programming to maximize the use and enjoyment of the arena as well as provide necessary revenues for operation and maintenance
- Supervise all activities to ensure compliance with behavior standards.

- Provide training to staff to ensure standards for facility cleanliness, staff appearance, maintenance, public safety and customer service

- Implement documentation of any fees or receipts collected at the facility.

- Work with the Operations Manager to ensure a safe facility.
- Organize and coordinate ice sales & scheduling with Amerihealth facility to ensure regulations are met. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Perform various other duties as requested for operation of the facility.

CMU Women's Club Hockey Volunteer Assistant Coach

Position Summary:
This position oversees nearly all aspects of program and operations management for men's and women's ice hockey. The responsibilities include management of various administrative aspects and assisting the coaching staffs in their off-ice responsibilities; liaison for recruits, parents, alumni and donors; oversee and supervise travel plans, itineraries, calendars, expense reconciliations and their budgetary implications; manage the ticket allotment for the team and staff; oversee the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of work-study students as team managers and office support staff; on-site coordinator of events involving the donor group, players, coaches and families; primary liaison for most other departments on campus such as, but not limited to, Budget Office, SASS, Development, and Alumni Relations. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and understanding of and follows all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree up to 2 years of operations experience required. Strong knowledge of hockey. Must have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to take initiative, analyze problems and prioritize assignments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in data management. Professional front office person with administrative/office experience and ability to work nights and weekends during the season and as requested

CPR and First Aid certificaiton will be required prior to coaching William Smith student athletes.

Assistant Coach Responsibilities:

The primary job of the Assistant Coach.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Must have a great personality with great social skills to players/parents…great communication and computer skill is a must.

Must be in coordination with our Billet manager, help increasing the billet network, curfews' supervision.

Recruiting solid players on and off the ice capable of playing at the TIER lll junior A level ( by utilizing emails/social medias/go to showcases/tournaments/phone calls…etc ).

Get In communication with Colleges directly to help promoting our players who applied to these schools all in coordination of our Academic advisor and be in coordination with the NAHL WF WildCats coaching staff on providing updates on our top prospects for them .

Be part of the training session both on and off ice and help players develop their skills and game sense all under the guidance of the head coach.

Game day management, ( Score sheets, sound system, score keeper, medical trainer, on site referees, away team lockeroom assignment, game tape ..etc.. ). On the road in coordination with the Head coach to schedule pre/post game meals for the players and make hotel rooming list and curfew supervision.

Breaking down video clips under the guidance of the head coach to be able to present video sessions to the team.

Assist club officers in enforcement of club rules for individual players.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the game, strong leadership characteristics, be dedicated and reliable.
Prior playing experience: Minimum of one FULL season at NCAA D-III level
Prior coaching experience: College, Junior preferred but not necessary.
Minimum level 4 USAH coaching certification.

CNY Stallions Tier lll Junior a Hockey Club NSHL Title: Head Coach/Recruiter

CNY Prospects in conjunction with CNY Sports Management has recently added a second Junior Hockey Program in the NSHL (Northern States Junior Hockey League) The team will operate as the CNY Stallions and will play out of SUNY Morrisville College beginning in the 2014-2015 season.

CNY Sports Management which currently owns the defending NSHL Champion Syracuse Stampede will look to add another successful junior program to the Central NY area. "We are looking for a seasoned coach and recruiter to help us build a base for our program in our first season in the NSHL".

Head Coach Responsibilities:

The primary job of the Head Coach is to manage all aspects of a competitive hockey program.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Recruitment of players capable of playing at the tier lll junior A level
Actively promote players onto appropriate college level teams
Proactively plan and conduct all practices, both on and off ice
Game day management, (Lineups, systems, and associated duties involved in the day to day operations of a successful junior program.)
Organizing and enforcing both off-season and in-season workouts
Assist club officers in accountability, and enforcement of club rules for individual players.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the game, strong leadership characteristics, and be dedicated to building a successful junior hockey program geared to help develop its players and assist in moving them on to the collegiate level.

Prior coaching experience from College, Junior, High School or Midget level is preferred.
USA Hockey Coaching Certifications level 4 or working towards level 4 or equivalent.

New Jersey Junior Titans Director of Women's Ice Hockey

New Jersey Junior Titans are seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Women's Ice Hockey. The New Jersey Junior Titans girls program is an established program with teams at the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19 and developmental levels. Currently we have over 70 girls participating in our club and are looking for a hardworking, motivated candidate interested in bringing our women's hockey program to the national level. Our squirt girls team has just qualified for the NJYHL league playoffs in the boys squirt division. Our U14 girls team won the Mid Atlantic Women's Hockey Association (MAHWAH) regular season championship and finished first in the Atlantic District.

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the New Jersey Junior Titans Girls program. Candidates should have previous coaching and/or playing experience at the NCAA levels. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as be well versed in advertising and marketing for the recruitment of talented players from across the state and country. New Jersey Rockets - Assistant Coaches

The New Jersey Rockets are seeking Assistant Coaches for 2014-2015 AAA Teams. The Rockets play in the AYHL and attend four top tier Showcases.

Responsibilities:

- Assist head coach in all facets of coaching the team
