Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach/Director of Ice Hockey Operations

Location: Belleville, Ill., campus Start Date: ASAP Purpose of Position: To serve as the Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach at Lindenwood University-Belleville as well as the Director of Ice Hockey Operations for the men's and women's programs.

Duties & Responsibilities: The women's ice hockey coach at Lindenwood University–Belleville will be responsible for all women's ice hockey team activities at the school. He/she will be responsible for all recruitment associated with the team and will ensure that all team athletes are certified to participate according to all institutional guidelines. The coach will also be responsible for planning and organizing all team activities, such as practices, team workouts, and any other event(s) that he/she deems necessary.

The coach will also be in charge of scheduling team activities. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting other universities to plan team schedules and coordinating travel arrangements with LU–Belleville and opposing schools. The position will include work on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

The individual will also be responsible for serving as the Director of Ice Hockey Operations and overseeing the men's and women's ice hockey programs on campus. He/she will help to coordinate the scheduling of facilities for practice and game times, assist with all fundraising, and assist with all team travel and all administrative responsibilities associated with both programs.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university; master's degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:

1. Significant coaching background at the collegiate level (head coaching experience with a sizable roster preferred)
2. Significant recruiting experience in the high school environment (Belleville and Metro-St. Louis region preferred)
3. Outstanding communications skills
Hours/Days: Full-time, will require work on nights and weekends.

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are actively seeking dynamic individuals to join our 2015-2016 fan experience team.

As a member of the NAHL's Midwest Division, the team plays its home games at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex in Soldotna, Alaska.

Internship Objective

Brown Bear Interns receive valuable hands-on experience within a sports organization, while having the chance to help behind the scenes and learn what it takes to run a successful program in the sports and entertainment industry. Internships are ideal for individuals who have interest in sales, marketing, public relations and sports management.

- Internships will be offered for the duration of the 2015-2016 Hockey Season

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Hockey Operations

- The specific responsibilities for this position will be dependent on staffing needs and the particular skillset of the applicant.

Activities may include:

Game Day Operations

- Preparing on-ice ceremonies and intermission activities, in period promotions and game day giveaways

Business Operations

- Assist the team with business operations and sales facilitation
- Assist front office staff with database management, presentations, and business development initiatives.

Ticketing and Merchandising

- Assist the team with the day to day ticketing and merchandising operations
- Will work at the Bears Home Games at the booth and/or merchandise booth
- Will also be asked to complete office hours assisting the team with day-to-day group sale operations

Public Relations and Marketing

- Work with front office and game-day operations staff on a variety of fan-experience initiatives
- Assist the staff in facilitation of the team's marketing and promotional operations
- Assist on game days with the implementation of various promotional programs
- On game days assist to coordinate the contest sign ups, fan relations and work to promote various ticket packages and upcoming events to the fans

The Neutral Zone

The Neutral Zone is the first nationwide scouting service that will track, rank and profile NCAA/CHL bound prospects starting from Bantams. The website will have news articles, player profiles and reports, comprehensive prospect rankings and cutting edge analytics.

We are looking to hire a national (soon to be international) scouting staff. We are looking to hire experienced scouts and former players who can recognize, evaluate and rank prospects in their regions. These are all part-time paid positions with income dependent on how many games/tournaments the scout attends.

These scouts will be asked to watch games, write player evaluations and rank players in a comprehensive list for our National Scouts to fact check. They will also be asked to build relationships with youth, prep, junior and NCAA/CHL coaches to ensure up to date information on players as well as accurate information on players skill set, character, academic achievements and NCAA/CHL interest. The Catholic University of America – ACHA - Volunteer Men's Hockey Assistant Coach

The Catholic University of America (CUA) men's hockey team is seeking a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2015-16 season. Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will assist with all aspects of an American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division III ice hockey program.

CUA is located in Washington, DC and is a proud member of the ACHA Division 3, and 2014-15 champions of the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference (BRHC). The team practices off campus at Fort Dupont Ice Arena two days per week at approximately 10PM, and generally plays games on Friday and Saturday nights.

Essential Job Functions: Including but not limited to, attending all scheduled games, practices, team meetings, and events. Video analysis, on-ice coaching and off-ice player development, practice plan development, game strategy, monitoring student athletes, managing the Hockey Operations Staff for game day preparations and other administrative duties assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications: USA Hockey CEP Level 3 or above, CPR/First Aid Certification, ability to successfully complete a background check administered by CUA and the ACHA, as well as the ability to comply with other USA Hockey and ACHA (SafeSport training) requirements. Walpole Express – Youth Coaching Opportunities

The Walpole Express are seeking qualified candidates for coaching positions within the youth program for the 2015-16 season.

The Walpole Express is dedicated to developing players of all skill levels from Mites to Juniors through a safe and fun environment. The Express Model is based upon three integral components; access to practice ice, professional coaching, and competitive games. Each Express Youth Team receives two practices, one skills session, and a weekly game(s) in order to provide the optimal balance of learning and playing opportunities. The Express Model will allow young players to acquire and assimilate the skills needed to focus on the long-term development of each athlete according to USA Hockey's Development Model.

City of Greeley Ice Haus - Recreation Coordinator

The University of Illinois Hockey Team (ACHA Division 2) is looking for a head coach for the upcoming season. The team practices on campus in Champaign two days a week at approximately 10PM and generally plays two games (Friday and Saturday) over the weekend. Millersville Ice Hockey Club Assistant Coach Opening

The team practices off campus at Lancaster Ice Rink two days a week at approximately 10PM and generally plays two games (Friday and Saturday) over the weekend. Director of Hockey - Pelham, AL

Director of Hockey ~ The City of Pelham is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Director of Hockey at the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena. This position will continue to grow and develop the hockey program for the City of Pelham, and to promote the sport in the greater Pelham area by producing a positive experience for aspiring hockey players, existing players and families. The Director is responsible for on and off ice instruction of players and coaches of the PYHL. CT Oilers Internship Program

As a part of the Connecticut Oilers organization, interns will be exposed to the inner workings of a professionally run hockey team. Specifically, interns will receive the opportunity to become involved with game night operations, marketing research and special projects. All interns will be required to handle computer applications with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.). In addition to working games, the intern will have the opportunity to work in the office environment during the season. 1. Game Night - the game of hockey is an event and much occurs behind the scenes to insure our guests have an enjoyable evening regardless of the outcome. Intern responsibilities on game night will include (but not limited to) the following:

- Helping with in-arena promotions (i.e.: Lobby activities, promotions, and intermission activities) at all CT Oilers home games
- Performing other duties as assigned by full-time staff
- Score Keeping and In-game statistics which includes computer entry
- Video Coordination – arranging video connection and filming of games for fasthockey.com live feeds
- Play-by-Play Announcer - live streaming

2. Research - you will be asked to assist in the research of general market information, hockey specific information and corporate partnership information as well as tracking of various media announcements.

- Create literature, ticket sales promotions, and other special interest projects as needed

- Scan daily newspapers and clip all CT Oilers related articles
- Help in compiling team statistics on team and league attendance figures and player performance

The Buffalo State College Men's Ice Hockey team is looking for a qualified Equipment Manager for the 2015-2016 season. Buffalo State College is a Division III school located just minutes from downtown Buffalo and proud members of the SUNYAC Conference. The Sport International Hockey Academy is entering it's 26th year of hockey instruction (ages 6 - 17 yrs.) in 33 locations across the U.S. We are beginning the careful process for a Camp Director for our 2016 hockey camps, in charge of running camps in 11 different cities in 12 weeks, next summer. Scouting Job Description: Precision Hockey Scouts are responsible for scouting players (AAA Hockey, Prep School Hockey, Junior Hockey, or College Hockey) to be advised by Precision Hockey Advisor Program. This program provides quality information while mentoring and guiding players through the intense recruiting or draft process. Precision Hockey Advisor Program provides one-on-one guidance towards goals through conference calls, emails, and/or meetings. Coaching for elite players greatly improves the development process; it is about finding the path that works best for them and taking the necessary steps to reach short-term and long-term goals. - We play 20-30 games a season

We are currently looking for a coach to lead the Western Illinois Hockey team in the 2015-2015 season. This is a paid position. Basic requirements are running practices two times a week and making basic coaching decisions. You will not be required to attend the off ice sessions in Macomb, but you will need to meet in Peoria in practice. You would be required to attend all games home and away and be at every practice.
