CUA Ice Hockey is currently looking for (2) two assistant coaches for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. CUA is a part of the ACHA Division 3 and plays in the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference(DVCHC).

Based out of Washington, DC , CUA practices two nights and week at Fort Dupont Ice Rink in Washington DC.

All games are played on either Friday or Saturday.

Requirements:

Palm Beach Hawks Youth Goalie Coach

The Palm Beach Hawks program serves over 150 youth players in West Palm Beach, FL and surrounding areas. We are looking for a qualified goalie coach to work with our youth program and our goalies specifically.

-Attend practice once, or twice a week
-Attend local games and provide feedback to goaltenders
-Work directly with goalies to improve their skill set both on and off the ice
-Review video with goalies and educate them/provide feedback.

- Available for practice times and be on the bench for all practices incase of injuries.
- Will follow direction on a daily basis from the GM/Coach
- Must pass a Police Background check
- Must have a valid drivers license
- CPR certificate
- 3 week time period must be given if the "trainer" wants out of his contract to move "to the next level".

The successful individual will be paid from mid AUG – end of SPRING CAMP or when season concludes on a yearly basis. The successful individual will be paid a respectable salary.

Central Maine Community College - Men's Hockey Coach

Central Maine Community College in Auburn, Maine is seeking a Men's Hockey Coach for the upcoming season. This very important position will work with the athletic director and other college personal to coach a high profile program at the Auburn College. The coach is responsible for the management of the hockey program.

This includes all recruiting, practice and game preparation. CM plays in the ACHA and will play between 20-28 games a year. The team practices 2-4 times a week. Although the program plays in the ACHA, it is funded and managed like any other college (CM) intercollegiate program. This position offers a $7000 a year stipend and has $2000 in additional funds for two assistant coaches.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:

- Assists in the recruitment of student athletes
- Manage practice time and scrimmages
- Serve as a liaison between the program and athletic training, administration, communications, equipment, compliance and finance reporting
- Support academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Act as role model for all student-athletes involved in the program
- Establish and maintain effective relationship with the college, alumni, high school coaches, media, and the local community
- Additional duties can be assigned by the director of athletics

Minimum Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years coaching experience, collegiate college coaching experience preferred

Valley Hill Summer Camp, South Kent, CT – Hockey Academy Lead

Valley Hill Summer Camp, based at the South Kent School in Connecticut is seeking a lead for their hockey academy. Valley Hill is an 8 week co-ed, residential camp for children aged 8 up to 15.

The Role

- Lead the hockey academy from 9 am to 12 pm from Monday to Friday, during the camp season which stretches from June 26th 2018 to August 18th 2018
- Design the program to coach children of various ages and abilities within the academy
- Manage the assistant coaches within the academy
Experience Required

- Previous college or pro level playing experience preferred
- Previous coaching experience of elementary/middle school aged players required
- USA Hockey coaching certification preferred

Bradley University will field an additional Men's Hockey Club (ACHA D3) in the fall of 2017. Winning is important but a head coach must also be able to develop players, recruit incoming freshmen, schedule league games and rink time, help with fundraising efforts, maintain the club's website, conduct on ice practices, and provide leadership and organization for the program. The head coach must be able to represent Bradley University in a positive manner, serve as a positive role model to players, and uphold and follow the Bradley University student handbook.

Past playing experience and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred. Mount Holyoke Club Ice Hockey Coaching Position

Mount Holyoke College Club Ice Hockey is seeking a coach for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. The team is part of the Independent Women's Club Hockey league (CATS Hockey league) and competes in the Adirondack-West Division. We are an all-inclusive team and expect coaches and assistant coaches to be respectful of the diversity within our player's skill level as well as their personal identities.

On-ice practices are held two nights a week at the Fitzpatrick Arena in Holyoke. A total of 12 games are scheduled for the season, all games being played on either Saturday or Sunday. The season begins roughly mid-October and the end of our season is roughly mid to late February. We also hold an end of the year alum game that in mid to late April. Applicants are also expected to attend the start of the season meet-n-greet for new players as well as the end of the year banquet.

Central Michigan University ACHA D-III Head Coach Position

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2017-18 season.

The Head Coach is responsible for personnel management, mentoring, and on and off-­‐ice training of approximately 25 student athletes with direct supervision over team and club officers and assistant coaches; this includes all tryouts, practices, home and away games, and other team functions such as, end-­‐of-­‐year events, spring recruit skates, marketing, and other possible events. The Head Coach is also expected to closely interact with a 5-10 team support staff (Club President, Secretary, head of hockey operations, etc) and Club sports personnel. The season runs from August through March, but duties extend year-­‐round (recruiting, team communication for scheduling and planning, league conference calls, ACHA annual convention, sponsor interaction, as well as other actions.)

· Job Responsibilities:

- Organize, plan and attend two weekly practices
- Prepare for and attend all home and away games, including out-of-state games/tournaments
- Develop and attend off-ice workouts and other team functions
- In conjunction with other coaches, plan, coordinate and participate in team training camp

COACHING OPPORTUNITY WITH PILOT MOUND HOCKEY ACADEMY

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (PMHA) is accepting applications for the position of a full time Head Coach and a part time Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2017-2018 hockey season. PMHA currently has a Midget Male Varsity Team and are now expanding to include a Female Midget Hockey Team. PMHA is an educational based, 10 month Hockey Program, operating out of the Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Complex in Manitoba who competes within the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). All players must attend Pilot Mound Collegiate. The team consists of Local, Canadian and International players who are accepted into the program through a recruitment process managed by the Coaches. The Head Coach will have the full responsibility of the Female team; however will work closely with the Coaching staff of both teams. EKU Colonels Men's Ice Hockey - Graduate Assistant Coach

The EKU Colonels Hockey Club is seeking a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The Colonels will play a 3o-game schedule in the ACHA with two practices per week and two off-ice sessions per week on campus.

The responsibilities will consist of assisting the Head Coach in planning, organizing and administrating all aspects of the program; including practice planning and implementation, strength and conditioning, video analysis and academic monitoring.

Please note that the position is strictly volunteer. We will have our own unlimited ice supply to run small group lessons, clinics, camps, 3-on-3 Leagues, Learn-to-Play-Hockey, Learn-To-Skate, Mommy and Me, Parent and Child Leagues, and anything else imaginable.

Seeking a former Collegiate or Professional hockey player to coach, train and instruct youth, high school, college, pro, and adults in the sport of ice hockey.

Qualifications:

* Played hockey at the collegiate or professional level and has an in-depth knowledge of hockey sports-specific training
* Positive, personable outlook, energetic, detail-oriented, happy, hardworking and thrive in high-pressure situations. * Outstanding organizational and customer service skills (both written and verbal)
* Must enjoy working in team environment
* Marketing and sales background is preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office software programs
* 4 year college degree or extensive coaching experience is required
* Clear background check required
* Must be willing to relocate

Responsibilities:

* Work with Program Manager to develop fun and exciting hockey training programs for players of all ages
* Train and coach clients in a fun, safe and motivating manor and provide top quality customer service
* Instruct at private lessons, clinics, and camps as well as at team practices
* Shoot and edit both video analysis footage and instructional videos
* Create and grow relationships with athletes and their parents and be a presence at tryouts, games and tournaments in the area
* Complete pre and post athlete evaluations
* Spearhead new projects that produce new streams of revenue for the program
* Must be willing to work mornings and evenings and weekends

Buffalo State Equipment Manager

Buffalo State College, an NCAA Division III member, invites applicants for the position of Hockey Equipment Manager. The Equipment Manager is a part time unpaid position that lasts approximately 5 months. You will be expected to attend most practices and all games both at home and on the road.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assist with set-up for video and stereo system
- Prepares both home and away locker rooms
- Provides a variety of supplies and equipment for team
- Prepares student-athletes' equipment for games
- Prepares locker room for referees
- Provides equipment duties during all home and away games and some practices
- Oversees team laundry operation
- Must be able to travel and maintain flexible hours
- Skate sharpening
- Perform some office duties, including trip planning and managing equipment inventory
