The University of North Dakota is seeking an assistant coach for the women's ice hockey program.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assist in all phases of coaching and administering a Division I women's hockey program to include but not limited to: recruiting, coaching, scouting, monitoring academic progress and promoting academic success, counseling student athletes, establishing and maintaining community relations. Recruiting coordinator with an emphasis on developing international contacts. Teach a number of classes in Physical Education, Exercise Science and Wellness Department. Other duties as assigned by head coach.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 4 years of collegiate or higher coaching experience.
• International recruiting and scouting experience required.
• Women's hockey coaching experience needed.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Criminal History background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's degree. Playing experience at collegiate or higher level.
• Prefer multi-lingual knowledge.

New Hampshire Junior Monarchs - Coaches Wanted for 2010-11 Season
The New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, based out of Hooksett, NH, are seeking qualified candidates for multiple coaching positions within the program for the 2010-2011 season.
Positions are available from the Midget Major through Mite Intro to Travel levels.
Responsibilities Include:attending on ice practices; attending off ice practices; attending all home and away games; game preparation; practice planning, team camp, etc.
Please note all coaches must have their USA Hockey Coaching Certification or must be willing to obtain appropriate level in fall. All midget coaches should have Level 4 by fall.
Tryouts for these teams are in Mid March, all coaches should be prepared to attend. The regular season starts with a camp in August and then begins first week of September. The Midget teams, which are split season, will start practices in August and will conclude the season in November, there is no team camp for this level.
Compensation: This is a stipend position, please note it is not a full time job. Parents that have a child on a team, will receive a discount towards there child's tuition.

Director of Media, Communications and Events.
The AMHL is the premier elite hockey player development league on the East Coast, servicing “AAA” caliber players from ages 9 to 20. It has been in operation since 1966 and has a rich history of developing both NHL and College hockey players, coaches, and officials.
Media, Communication and Events Director
The AMHL is looking to contract an individual to perform various functions related to the League’s Media, Communication and Events. The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized and a self-starter that can work independently.
GENERAL DUTIES –
Updating league web site content; weekly updating of Players of the Week for the MET and AJHL; maintaining records for the league, college commitments, NCAA and ACHA College Hockey contacts; AYHL Web Site Content and press releases; preparing press releases for events and showcases for our Junior Leagues; attend showcases and league meetings; booking hotels and flights for staff, and other duties as needed.
