Seven players competing for an NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championship at Norwich University this weekend have been honored as JOFA ALL-AMERICANS for 2003-04. Noteworthy among the selections is the repeat of First Team forwards Travis Banga of New England College, Kevin Cooper of Middlebury, Jason Dietsch of St. Norbert, and Kurtis McLean of Norwich. St. John’s University led all schools with five selections (two First Team and three Second Team.)
The JOFA ALL-AMERICAN ICE HOCKEY TEAMS are sponsored by JOFA, an international leader in hockey equipment, and chosen by members of the AMERICAN HOCKEY COACHES ASSOCIATION.
