American Hockey Coaches Association To Auction
29 Autographed NHL Jerseys For Charity
“HOCKEY COACHES CARE” Helps Amateur Hockey Community

The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) will be offering 29 signed National Hockey League (NHL) jerseys to lucky bidders on eBay beginning this Friday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. The jerseys were obtained by former college hockey players who were under contract with the NHL teams last season. Every NHL team except Edmonton and Colorado are included in the auction and there are two Ottawa jerseys. Each item will be subject to a separate bidding process.

“This is a great example of the hockey community coming together at every level,” said Joe Bertagna, AHCA Executive Director. “Former collegians, now at the pro level, have made sure these jerseys were signed by their teammates. All the funds raised will benefit people in need throughout the amateur hockey community.”

Proceeds from this sale will go to “HOCKEY COACHES CARE,” a relief fund for the amateur hockey community initiated by the AHCA. “HOCKEY COACHES CARE” helps both individuals in need and organizations that promote the values embraced by the hockey community.

CCM and RBK Hockey (Reebok) donated all the jerseys used in this undertaking.
