FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR AHCA WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY COLLEGE DIVISION COACH OF THE YEAR

Eight coaches who have enjoyed on-ice success in 2004-05 have been named finalists for the College Division (NCAA Division III) Women’s Ice Hockey Coach of the Year Award. The award will be presented at the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Coach of the Year Banquet on Saturday, April 23, in Naples, FL. The finalists include two-time winner Bill Mandigo of Middlebury College (2001 and 2004), as well as three other coaches competing in the NCAA Women’s Division III Frozen Four this weekend in Elmira, NY. They are: Mike Carroll of Gustavus Adolphus, Kevin Houle of Plattsburgh, and Paul Nemetz-Carlson of Elmira.

To be a finalist for this award, you must either be voted Coach of the Year in your conference or take your team to the NCAA Frozen Four.
