PLATTSBURGH, NY — Six of the 18 players honored today as 2008 RBK HOCKEY DIVISION III WOMEN’S ALL-AMERICANS will be competing for an NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Championship in Plattsburgh, NY, this weekend. NCAA semifinalists Plattsburgh (2), Wisconsin-Superior (2), Elmira (1) and Manhattanville (1) had the six selections. Noteworthy: the only repeat first team selection is Plattsburgh's junior forward Danielle Blanchard. Five of the six West All Americans are Minnesota natives.
The
RBK HOCKEY ALL-AMERICAN ICE HOCKEY TEAMS are sponsored by RBK HOCKEY, an international leader in hockey equipment, and chosen by members of the AMERICAN HOCKEY COACHES ASSOCIATION. Due to the number of teams regionally, the coaches have established two East teams and one West team.
