FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR AHCA WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY COLLEGE DIVISION COACH OF THE YEAR

Nine coaches who have enjoyed on-ice success in 2009-10 have been named finalists for the AHCA College Division (NCAA Division III) Women’s Ice Hockey Coach of the Year Award. The award will be presented during the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Convention Friday, April 30, in Naples, FL. The finalists include past winners Kevin Houle of Plattsburgh, who was the recipient three times from 2006-2008, and Jim Plumer of Amherst, who was honored last year.

To be a finalist for this award, you must either be voted Coach of the Year in your conference or take your team to the NCAA Frozen Four. The winner will be announced next week, after the conclusion of the the NCAA Division III Women's Frozen four being played at Gustavus Adolphus this weekend.
