MIKE MCSHANE OF NORWICH REPEATS AS COLLEGE DIVISION COACH OF THE YEAR

For the third time in four years, Mike McShane of Norwich is the winner of the Edward Jeremiah Award as the College Division Coach of the Year. With a team picked for fifth place in the pre-season poll of ECAC East Division coaches, McShane guided his Cadets to both the ECAC East Regular Season and East Tournament championships for the second straight season. But his major accomplishment was leading Norwich to its first NCAA Division III Championship.

McShane, who played his college hockey for the late Charlie Holt at the University of New Hampshire, has won nearly 350 games in 19 seasons as a head coach. Prior to taking over at Norwich, McShane had successtul Division I stints at St. Lawrence and Providence. He was the Eddie Jeremiah Award winner in 1997 and 1999 as well.

Terry Skrypek ot the University of St. Thomas was this year's Jeremiah Award Runner-Up.
