College Hockey’s "Ice Breaker Tournament" Coming to Missouri
The Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) announced today that the annual Ice Breaker Tournament, the season-opening event involving teams from four NCAA Division I conferences, has been awarded for the years 2010 through 2012. (Full Release)

JACK PARKER of BOSTON UNIVERSITY IS AHCA MEN’S DIVISION I COACH of the YEAR
For his efforts in leading the Terriers of Boston University to this year’s NCAA Division I Men’s Championship, Jack Parker of Boston University has been chosen winner of the 2009 Spencer Penrose Award as Division I Men’s Coach of the Year. (Full Release)

MARK JOHNSON of WISCONSIN IS AHCA WOMEN’S DIVISION I COACH of the YEAR

DOMINICK DAWES of NEUMANN COLLEGE IS NAMED AHCA MEN’S DIVISION III COACH of the YEAR
Dominick Dawes, who led Neumann College to a 21-9-2 record and the school’s first NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey National Championship, has been named the 41st recipient of the 2009 Edward Jeremiah Award, given annually to the Men’s Division III Ice Hockey Coach of the Year. (Full Release)

JOB TITLE: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
JOB STATUS: FULL-TIME YEAR ROUND!

JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Executive Director manages the interests of the Hockey Commissioners Association. This position supervises two full-time positions as well as other potential part-time positions in the areas of education, NCAA rules, media platforms and camps. The Executive Director will create a vision for growing the economic resources of the Hockey Commissioners Association, improving the recruiting efforts of college hockey and its member institutions and growing the relationships with USA Hockey and the National Hockey League. Salary and a benefits package are commensurate with experience. This position requires the ability to travel, work nights and weekends and holidays as needed.
