2024-25 CCM/AHCA Women’s Division I All-Americans Announced

The University of Wisconsin dominates the 2025 AHCA/CCM All-American Teams announced today by the American Hockey Coaches Association and chosen by the nation's Division I head coaches. The top-ranked Badgers have four honorees, all on the six-person First Team. They are repeat honorees Caroline Harvey on defense, Casey O'Brien and Kirsten Simms up front, joined by first-time selection Laila Edwards, also a forward. For Harvey, it is All-American status three straight years as she was a Second Team selection as a freshman in 2023. Joining them on the first team are Clarkson defenseman Haley Winn and Minnesota Duluth goaltender Ève Gascon.

The four Badgers advanced to the NCAA Frozen in Minneapolis as did Cornell goalie Annelies Bergmann, Ohio State defenseman Emma Peschel and Minnesota forward Abbey Murphy.

Noteworthy among the selections:

  • Clarkson has two honorees while six other schools enjoy a single selection. Clarkson's Nicole Gosling, a Second Team choice, was First Team in 2024. Penn State's Tessa Janecke repeats on the Second Team.
  • Nine players come from seven different states, two players hail from Canada, and one from the Czech Republic.
  • There are three fifth-year players, two seniors, five juniors and two sophomores.
  • Seven selections came from the WCHA, four from ECAC Hockey, and one from Atlantic Hockey America.
