
Tenth Annual AHCA 'All-American Scholars' Announced for D I Hockey
723 D I Men and Women Recognized by the AHCA for 2025-26 Excellence
The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2025-26 season with the announcement of the tenth annual “Krampade All-American Scholars.” To qualify a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team’s games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goalies. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
The names of 723 Division I men (404) and women (319) are being released today, their Division II-III counterparts be- ing announced separately. Of particular note are the 11 athletes who not only earned this academic status but were also voted as CCM/AHCA All-Americans for their on-ice play. They are:
Men
1st Team: Trey Augustine, JR G, Michigan State University; Brandon Holt, SR D, University of Maine; Michael Hrabal, JR G, University of Massachusetts; Eric Pohlkamp, JR D, University of Denver.
Women
1st Team: Tia Chan, GR G, University of Connecticut; Lacey Eden, GR F, University of Wisconsin; Tessa Janecke, SR F, Penn State University; Emma Peschel, SR D, Ohio State University.
2nd Team: Joy Dunn, JR F, Ohio State University; Eve Gascon, JR G, University of Minnesota Duluth; Kahlen Lamarche, JR F, Quinnipiac University; Sydney Morrow, SR D, University of Minnesota.
